# A merch shop for a brand or a creator

A brand or a creator uses PrintBlob to sell merch that fans personalise within the brand's look: their name in the brand's typeface, on the brand's own product photos, in the brand's colours. PrintBlob Pro brings the brand's fonts, its own products and photos, its own wording in the designer, the 3D view and the print files the printer needs.

## Who is this for?

A brand, a band, a YouTuber or an illustrator with a WooCommerce shop, selling merch that fans can personalise: a name under the logo, a city on the back, a line from a song. The brand wants the result to stay on-brand; the fan wants it to be theirs.

## What matters in PrintBlob?

- **The brand's typeface (PrintBlob Pro).** Fonts you upload to WordPress's Font Library, or your theme's own, in the designer's font menu, and the four bundled fonts dropped if you want only yours.
- **Your own products and photos (PrintBlob Pro).** Hoodies, totes and mugs on your own photography, with a print area drawn on each.
- **Your own wording (PrintBlob Pro).** The designer's buttons and messages in the brand's voice, per language.
- **The 3D view (PrintBlob Pro).** The garment turned round with the fan's print on it, front and back.
- **The designer in your pages.** In the block editor for free, and with PrintBlob Pro in Elementor, Beaver Builder, Divi or Bricks.
- **Files for the printer (PrintBlob Pro).** If a printer prints for you, send each order's ZIP: the files at their real size and the list of what goes on which product, colour and size.

## What are the limits?

PrintBlob does not lock the design: fans place what they upload or type anywhere in the print area, so keep the print area to where the brand allows a print. PrintBlob Pro's design templates give fans the brand's design to start from, but everything in a template can be changed: there is no template with fixed elements a fan cannot move. It does not connect to print-on-demand services; the guide [WooCommerce print on demand checklist](/guides/woocommerce-print-on-demand-checklist/) covers that route.

## How do I try it?

Open the [3D view demo](/demos/#3d) and turn the shirt round, then look at [fonts](/features/fonts/) and [your own wording](/features/wording/) for the brand's look.

## How does a merch order go through PrintBlob?

1. **Make the products on your own photos.** With PrintBlob Pro, a mockup per product under PrintBlob › Mockups: your photo of each side, the print area and its size.
2. **Give the designer the brand's look.** The brand's fonts from WordPress's Font Library, your theme's colours and corner radius, and your own wording for every text of the designer.
3. **Put the designer where the brand's pages are.** On the product page, as a block, or with PrintBlob Pro in an Elementor, Beaver Builder, Divi or Bricks page.
4. **Fans personalise and order.** They add their name or a line of their own, see it in 3D, choose colour and size, and order.
5. **Print or send to the printer.** With PrintBlob Pro, each order's print files, a 300 DPI PNG, a vector PDF and an SVG of each printed side, are in one ZIP with a print list, for your own press or your printer.

## Try it in the live demo

**The 3D view.** The designer opens on PrintBlob Pro’s 3D view: the shirt on its hanger, built from its front and back photos, with the design printed on it. It needs a graphics processor; where the browser would draw it in software, the 3D button is not shown.

## Set it up

- [Mockups](https://printblob.com/docs/mockups/): A mockup is a product photo for each printable side, with its print area and the real print size in centimetres. PrintBlob Pro makes every order's print files at that size: a 300 DPI PNG, a vector PDF and an SVG.
- [Theme integration](https://printblob.com/docs/theme/): The designer takes your theme's colours, fonts and corner radius by itself. To change them, set PrintBlob's CSS custom properties in your theme.
- [PrintBlob Pro](https://printblob.com/docs/pro/): PrintBlob Pro adds print-ready files of every order (a 300 DPI PNG, a vector PDF and SVG, and a CMYK PDF through your printer's profile) with the customers' original images, your own products and photos, back and sleeve printing, a 3D view, design templates, a clipart library, quantity breaks, names and numbers for team orders, a print queue with ZIP downloads, and your own fonts.
- [Sell custom hoodies, mugs, tote bags and caps in WooCommerce](https://printblob.com/guides/custom-hoodies-mugs-tote-bags-caps-woocommerce/): How to add hoodies, mugs, tote bags and caps next to t-shirts in a WooCommerce shop with a product designer: what changes for each product, its print areas and sizes, the photos it needs, and how to set each one up as a variable product with its own mockup.
- [A checklist for running a WooCommerce print-on-demand shop](https://printblob.com/guides/woocommerce-print-on-demand-checklist/): Everything to check before and after opening a WooCommerce shop that prints customers' designs itself: products and mockups, print files and DPI, pricing per printed side, proofs, the order flow from checkout to press, returns for custom items, and the privacy of customer uploads.

## The features that matter here

- [Fonts: four bundled, and your own with Pro](https://printblob.com/features/fonts/) (Free, with more in PrintBlob Pro): PrintBlob's designer has four bundled fonts. PrintBlob Pro adds your theme's fonts, fonts you upload and Google Fonts from WordPress's Font Library, in the designer and the print files.
- [Mockups and print areas](https://printblob.com/features/mockups/) (Free, with more in PrintBlob Pro): A mockup is a product photo per printable side, the print area drawn on it and its real size in centimetres. Free: the bundled t-shirt. PrintBlob Pro: your own products.
- [Your own wording in the designer and the shop](https://printblob.com/features/wording/) (PrintBlob Pro): PrintBlob Pro lets you replace any text of PrintBlob and PrintBlob Pro with your own, per language of your site: the designer, the cart, emails and the admin.
- [The 3D view of the product](https://printblob.com/features/3d-view/) (PrintBlob Pro): PrintBlob Pro's 3D view: customers turn the garment on its hanger with their design printed on it, built from the mockup's own front and back photos, with no 3D model to make.
- [The designer in page builders](https://printblob.com/features/page-builders/) (Free, with more in PrintBlob Pro): PrintBlob shows on product pages and as a block. PrintBlob Pro adds an Elementor widget, a Beaver Builder module and a shortcode for Divi, Bricks and any builder that runs shortcodes.
- [Print-ready PNG, PDF and SVG files and the print queue](https://printblob.com/features/print-files/) (Free, with more in PrintBlob Pro): Every WooCommerce order keeps its design. PrintBlob Pro makes each printed side's print files at the exact print size: a transparent 300 DPI PNG, a vector PDF and an SVG, and a CMYK PDF through your printer's profile if you want one. Its print queue gives each order's files in one ZIP.

## Questions

### Can the designer look like the rest of my site?

Yes. It takes your theme's text font and colours, and its corner radius from theme.json; CSS custom properties override the rest.

### Does PrintBlob print and ship for me?

No. PrintBlob is the designer and the files; printing and shipping are yours or your printer's. It does not connect to print-on-demand services.
