T-shirt mockup generator: free PNG mockups and a 3D video

A free t-shirt mockup generator that works in your browser: choose your artwork, place it on the front of a t-shirt, switch on its colours and download a PNG mockup of each colour, or a video of the shirt turning in 3D. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no account to make.

To make a t-shirt mockup for free, choose your artwork, drag it into place on the front of the shirt, switch on the colours you want and download a PNG of each; press 3D to download a video of the shirt turning. The generator is PrintBlob’s own designer, running in your browser, so your artwork is not uploaded and there is no account to make. Each PNG is 1334 × 1600 pixels on a transparent background, the ink taking the light of the fabric’s folds; the video is 1080 × 1294 pixels, the shirt going once round in 6 seconds. Every download carries a small printblob.com in its bottom-right corner, and nothing over your design.

How it works

  1. Choose your artwork. A PNG, JPEG or WebP image of up to 20 MB, which your browser reads without sending it anywhere. A PNG with a transparent background shows the shirt around your design; a logo on a white box prints as a white box.
  2. Place it. Drag it on the front of the shirt; its corner handles resize and rotate it. The dashed line is the print area, 28 × 36 cm: what is outside it is not printed, so it is not on the mockup either.
  3. Switch on the colours. Each colour you switch on gets a mockup of its own, and the shirt shows the last one you switched on: White, Black, Heather grey, Navy, Bottle green and Brick red.
  4. Download the mockups. Download PNG mockups makes a PNG of each colour, 1334 × 1600 pixels on a transparent background, ready to go on any background.
  5. Record a turn in 3D. 3D shows the shirt on its hanger, and you can drag it round. Record a 3D turn records it going once round in 6 seconds, a 1080 × 1294 pixel video: MP4 where your browser records MP4, WebM where it records only that.

What the mockups are made with

The generator is PrintBlob’s own designer, the one shoppers use on a WooCommerce product page: its editor places your artwork, and its recolouring makes every colour from one photo of a white t-shirt, keeping the folds and the light. Your design is printed into the photo the way PrintBlob Pro prints it in 3D, so the ink takes the light of the fabric under it. The 3D turn is PrintBlob Pro’s 3D view, made from the shirt’s front and back photos.

The printblob.com mark

Every download carries a small “printblob.com” in its bottom-right corner, at half strength, beside the shirt: nothing covers your design. The generator is free, with no account and no limit, and the mark is what it asks in return, so that whoever sees your mockup can find where it was made.

Questions

Is this t-shirt mockup generator free?

Yes, with no account, no sign-up and no limit on how many mockups you make: it runs in your browser, so there is nothing to pay for. Each download carries a small printblob.com in its corner, which is all the generator asks in return.

Do the mockups have a watermark?

Not over your design. Each PNG and each video carries a small “printblob.com” in its bottom-right corner, at half strength, beside the shirt; your artwork on the shirt is left clear.

Is my artwork uploaded anywhere?

No. The page reads your file in your browser and draws the mockups and the video there: nothing is sent to printblob.com or anyone else, and nothing is kept once you leave the page.

What size are the mockups?

Each PNG is 1334 × 1600 pixels, the full size of the shirt’s photo, on a transparent background. Your artwork is drawn into it from your own file, so a large image stays sharp.

Can I make a 3D t-shirt mockup video?

Yes. Press 3D to see the shirt on its hanger, then Record a 3D turn: the shirt goes once round in 6 seconds, recorded in your browser as a 1080 × 1294 pixel video, MP4 where your browser records MP4 and WebM where it records only that. The 3D view needs WebGL 2 with graphics acceleration.

Can I put my design on the back, on a hoodie or on my own product?

Not here: the generator prints on the front of the t-shirt that comes with the free PrintBlob plugin. In your own WooCommerce shop, PrintBlob Pro adds your own products, back printing and a 3D view, made from your own product photos.

Can my customers make mockups like this in my shop?

Yes, with PrintBlob, a product designer plugin for WooCommerce: customers place their artwork on the product page, see it in the colour they choose, and the order keeps their design. The free plugin designs on this t-shirt; PrintBlob Pro adds your own products, back printing, a 3D view and print-ready files.

Mockups in your own shop

On printblob.com the generator shows the t-shirt that comes with the free PrintBlob plugin. In a WooCommerce shop, PrintBlob lets your customers do this on the product page, and every order keeps their design: the free plugin designs on this t-shirt, in the colours you sell, and PrintBlob Pro adds your own products, back printing, a 3D view and print-ready files. To see the designer itself, try the live designer, or its 3D view; to check an image prints sharp before you order, use the print size tool.
