Licence and updates
Activating a PrintBlob Pro licence, moving it to another site, renewals and what happens when a yearly licence ends.
A PrintBlob Pro licence brings automatic updates and priority support. Each licence is for one site.
Activate your licence
- Copy your key (it looks like
PB-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX) from your account, or from the page you saw after paying. - In WordPress, open WooCommerce › Settings › PrintBlob › Licence.
- Paste it into Licence key and select Activate licence.
The screen then shows the licence’s state, for example “Active, Lifetime: updates included for as long as you use PrintBlob Pro.” and how many of its sites are in use.
WordPress checks the licence once a day, so a renewal shows up there on its own.
Move a licence to another site
Select Remove licence from this site on the old site, then activate the key on the new one. If the old site is gone, remove it from the licence in your account: each licence lists its sites with a Deactivate button.
A site’s address is recorded without https:// and www., so https://www.shop.example/ and shop.example count as the same site.
Updates
New versions of PrintBlob Pro appear in Dashboard › Updates and on the Plugins screen. View details shows the changelog. A site gets the download while its licence is active:
- Lifetime: always.
- Yearly: until the date your licence is paid up to.
The changelog lists every release.
When a yearly licence ends
PrintBlob Pro keeps working. Updates and priority support stop until you renew. The settings screen says “Expired on (date). PrintBlob Pro keeps working; renew to get updates again.”
Yearly licences renew automatically every year. To stop renewing, open Billing in your account and cancel the subscription: the licence stays active until the end of the year you paid for. If a subscription has ended, the account shows Renew on the licence; renewing keeps the same key, and if your year has not run out yet, the new year starts when the current one ends.
