PrintBlob

Installation

Requirements, installing the free PrintBlob plugin and adding PrintBlob Pro.

Requirements

  • WordPress 7.0 or newer
  • WooCommerce 10.0 or newer
  • PHP 7.4 or newer

PrintBlob works with any theme. Its blocks (the designer and Colours) are made for block themes, and the designer also shows on the product page of every product that has it turned on.

Install PrintBlob (free)

PrintBlob is free and is being listed on WordPress.org. Once it is listed:

  1. In WordPress, open Plugins › Add New, search for “PrintBlob” and select Install Now, then Activate. WooCommerce must be active.
  2. Open Products › Mockups. A t-shirt mockup is ready to use; add your own photos and print areas as needed (see Mockups).
  3. Edit a product, open its PrintBlob designer tab, turn the designer on, choose a mockup and set the print price per side (see Products).
  4. Give the terms of your colour attribute a colour value and a photo (see Colours).
  5. Add the PrintBlob designer block to a page, or use the product’s own page, and the Colours block wherever you want colour links.
  6. Check the options under WooCommerce › Settings › PrintBlob (see Settings).

The WordPress.org listing is waiting for review. This page will link to it as soon as it is live.

Add PrintBlob Pro

PrintBlob Pro is an add-on: it needs the free plugin.

  1. Buy a licence on the pricing section. Your licence key appears right after payment and in your account.
  2. In your account, select Download PrintBlob Pro to get printblob-pro.zip.
  3. In WordPress, open Plugins › Add New › Upload Plugin, choose the zip, then Install Now and Activate.
  4. Enter your licence key under WooCommerce › Settings › PrintBlob › Licence and select Activate licence (see Licence and updates).

From then on, Pro updates arrive in Dashboard › Updates like any other plugin.
