Where PrintBlob fits
Both are hosted services with a plan and a fee on each sale. PrintBlob is a WooCommerce plugin that runs in your own shop instead: free on WordPress.org, with PrintBlob Pro sold yearly or once and no fee per sale (see PrintBlob’s pricing). It suits a shop that prints garments: customers place their own text and images on the product page, each order keeps its design, and PrintBlob Pro adds your own products on your own photos, the back and the sleeves, a 3D view from two product photos, and per printed side a transparent PNG at 300 DPI, a vector PDF and an SVG.
PrintBlob is not the right choice for products configured from parts and options, for AR, engraving files, bulk quotes, or a store on Shopify or Wix: Zakeke or Kickflip does those, and PrintBlob does not. The alternatives page and PrintBlob vs Zakeke go further.

How do I choose between Zakeke and Kickflip?
- Decide what the customer does. If customers place their own text, photos and artwork, compare the designers; if they mostly choose parts, colours and options, compare the configurators and their rules.
- Count your products and variants. Zakeke's plans publish a set number of products each; Kickflip lists unlimited products and variants.
- Name the file your printer needs. Zakeke lists PDF, layered PDF, PNG, DXF and BMP, and CMYK and Pantone from its Grow plan; Kickflip's print-ready page names PDF files with bleed and safety margins.
- Try both on the same product. Both can be tried for 14 days without a card; set up one product in each and compare the preview, the price as options change and the file of a test order.

- WooCommerce product designer plugins compared
Three ways to let customers design products in a WooCommerce shop: self-hosted designer plugins, hosted customizer services, and print-on-demand integrations. What each costs, where designs are processed, and what you get back.
- Print-ready t-shirt files: format, transparency and resolution
What makes a t-shirt print file ready to print: a transparent PNG at 300 DPI at the printed size, or a vector file where the method takes one. Why customer photos print blurry, why backgrounds print as boxes, and what DTG, DTF, screen printing, vinyl and embroidery each need from you.
Questions
Zakeke vs Kickflip: which is better for WooCommerce?
They suit different products. Zakeke is a customiser and 3D configurator where customers design on the product, with templates, clipart, AR and print files in PDF, DXF and CMYK. Kickflip is a product configurator built from image layers, with unlimited products, variants and storage, conditional rules, real-time prices and print-ready PDFs.
Does Kickflip have 3D like Zakeke?
Not as a 3D viewer on the Kickflip pages we read on 20 October 2026. Kickflip's help centre says a configurator works by stacking image layers, one set per view, and that parts made in a 3D model are rendered as transparent PNGs. Zakeke lists a 3D configurator, interactive 3D previews, AR and virtual try-on.
Do Zakeke and Kickflip charge a fee on each sale?
Yes, both. Zakeke charges a monthly or yearly plan plus a fee on each customised product sold. Kickflip charges a monthly plan plus a fee per custom product sold, on orders processed through Kickflip. Prices change, so read each pricing page before you choose.
Are Zakeke and Kickflip on WordPress.org?
Yes, both connect WooCommerce through a plugin there. Zakeke Interactive Product Designer for WooCommerce has been listed since 8 June 2017 and Kickflip product configurators since 5 June 2018. Each plugin connects your shop to the hosted service, which you pay for once its free days are over.
Which platforms do Zakeke and Kickflip support?
Kickflip names Shopify, WooCommerce and Wix, and an API for a custom store. Zakeke names many more, among them Shopify, WooCommerce, Wix, PrestaShop, Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, Etsy and Amazon, and an API.
Is there a self-hosted alternative to Zakeke and Kickflip?
Yes. PrintBlob runs inside WooCommerce on your own server with no monthly plan and no fee per sale; it is free on WordPress.org, and PrintBlob Pro adds print-ready files and your own products. It is a designer for printed garments, not a configurator of parts and options, and has no AR.
