Honest comparison: InkSoft, DecoNetwork and OnPrintShop alternatives
InkSoft, DecoNetwork and OnPrintShop are print-shop platforms paid by monthly subscription, each with its own online stores, an online designer, quotes and production tools, so the alternatives are either another platform of the same kind or your own WooCommerce shop with a product designer plugin such as PrintBlob, which replaces the store and the designer for garment orders but none of the quoting, invoicing, group stores and production planning those platforms include.

Where is print-shop software stronger?
- One system from quote to delivery. InkSoft and DecoNetwork put stores, the designer, quotes, invoices, artwork approvals and production in one account; OnPrintShop does the same for commercial print, with estimating and workflow rules. With WooCommerce and PrintBlob, the shop and the designer are covered and the rest is yours to add.
- Stores for groups. Team, school, fundraiser and company stores, each with its own products, are what these platforms are built around. A WooCommerce shop is one shop.
- Pricing by decoration method. DecoNetwork prices each decoration process its own way and reduces colours for screen printing; InkSoft and DecoNetwork both name embroidery beside the printing methods. PrintBlob has one price per printed side, whatever the method, which PrintBlob Pro’s quantity breaks lower by quantity.
- Blanks from suppliers. DecoNetwork brings in supplier catalogues and raises purchase orders; PrintBlob has none.
- Paper and commercial print. OnPrintShop serves business cards, flyers, large format, labels and packaging, with B2B storefronts. PrintBlob does not make paper products.
- Onboarding. DecoNetwork includes one-to-one onboarding and weekly live training; InkSoft lists free training and support.
Where is a WooCommerce shop with PrintBlob stronger?
- No monthly plan for the designer and no fee per sale. The free plugin costs nothing; PrintBlob Pro is $69 a year or $99 once (limited-time offer until 31 December 2026), however much you sell.
- The shop is yours. It runs in your own WordPress on your own hosting, with your theme and the WooCommerce extensions you choose; designs, customers’ images and print files stay on your server, and you are not tied to one vendor’s platform.
- A free start you can run for real. PrintBlob on WordPress.org takes front-printed t-shirt orders in every colour you sell and keeps each order’s design, with no time limit and nothing locked.
- The design on your product’s photo. Customers design on the product’s own photo, recoloured to every colour you sell; PrintBlob Pro adds your own products, the back and the sleeves, and a 3D view made from the product’s photos.
- Print files at the exact print size. PrintBlob Pro renders each printed side as a transparent PNG at 300 DPI, a vector PDF and an SVG at the print area’s size when the design goes into the cart, and for earlier orders from their saved designs.
Where PrintBlob fits
PrintBlob suits a print shop that mostly sells garments its customers design themselves, one order at a time, and wants that store in its own WooCommerce shop instead of on a platform it pays for every month. Customers design on the product page, each order keeps its design, preview and images, and PrintBlob Pro hands you print-ready files per printed side and a print queue. A shop that already quotes and invoices in a separate tool, or by hand, loses the least by moving.
Where PrintBlob does not fit
PrintBlob is not a print-shop platform, and it does not replace what InkSoft, DecoNetwork or OnPrintShop do around the store. It has no team, school, fundraiser or company stores, no quotes, invoices or approval step, no production calendar or purchase orders, no supplier catalogues, no pricing by stitches or colours, no colour separations or Pantone colours, no paper products and no B2B storefronts, and it runs only in WooCommerce. If your shop lives on those, stay on a print-shop platform or choose another one. The WooCommerce product designer alternatives page compares PrintBlob with the other designers you could put on a WooCommerce shop.

How do I decide whether to leave my print-shop software?
- List what you use every week. Go through a month of orders and note which tools did the work: the online designer, team, school or company stores, quotes, invoices, artwork approvals, the production calendar, supplier catalogues.
- Separate the store from the back office. A WooCommerce shop with a product designer replaces the store and the designer. Quotes, invoices, approvals and production planning then need another tool or a step you do by hand.
- Cost both routes for a year. Add twelve months of your platform's plan to any licence fee it charges, and set against it the WooCommerce route: hosting, a designer plugin, and any back-office tool you would add.
- Run one product side by side. Install PrintBlob free on a WooCommerce site, set up one t-shirt, place a test order and compare it with the same order in your current platform before you move anything.

Questions
What are the alternatives to InkSoft?
Two kinds. Another print-shop platform with stores, a designer, quotes and production in one subscription, such as DecoNetwork; InkSoft's own pricing page also offers a bundle with Printavo, print shop management software for quotes, approvals, payments and production. Or your own WooCommerce shop with a product designer plugin such as PrintBlob, which takes garment orders that customers design on your product pages, with no monthly plan and no fee per sale, but has no quotes, invoices or production planning.
What are the alternatives to DecoNetwork?
DecoNetwork is print shop management software with online stores, quotes, orders, artwork approvals, supplier catalogues and production in one monthly plan. A shop that uses all of that needs another platform of the same kind. A shop that mainly uses the online store and designer for garment orders can move them to WooCommerce with a designer plugin such as PrintBlob, and keep quotes and production in a separate tool.
What are the alternatives to OnPrintShop?
OnPrintShop is web-to-print software for commercial printers, with B2C and B2B storefronts, estimating, order and quote management and a designer for business cards, flyers, packaging, signage, labels and apparel. Its alternatives are other web-to-print platforms. PrintBlob is not one: it designs on product photos, not paper products from templates, so it replaces OnPrintShop only for a shop that mostly sells custom garments.
Is there a free alternative to InkSoft or DecoNetwork?
Not for everything they do. WooCommerce is a free plugin and PrintBlob is free on WordPress.org: customers design the front of a t-shirt on your product page in every colour you sell, and each order keeps its design; you pay for your hosting. Print-ready files, your own products and the print queue are in PrintBlob Pro, $69 a year or $99 once (limited-time offer until 31 December 2026). Quotes, invoices, group stores and production planning are in neither.
Should I use InkSoft or a store platform such as Shopify or WooCommerce?
A store platform runs a general online shop that you own and extend; a print-shop platform adds the decorator's tools around its stores: quotes, approvals, pricing by decoration method, supplier catalogues and production. On a store platform you add the designer and the print workflow yourself. PrintBlob is that designer for WooCommerce; it does not run on Shopify.
Does PrintBlob have team stores, quotes or a production calendar?
No. PrintBlob is a product designer for WooCommerce: it has no team, fundraiser or company stores, no quotes or invoices, no approval step, no supplier catalogues and no production calendar. PrintBlob Pro's print queue lists the items to print, oldest first, with each order's print files in one ZIP and a Mark printed button, and that is the whole of its production tools.
Does PrintBlob price screen printing or embroidery by colours or stitches?
No. PrintBlob sets a print price per printed side, whatever the method: the front in the free plugin, and the back and sleeves too in PrintBlob Pro, whose quantity breaks lower it from the quantities you set. DecoNetwork's help centre describes a pricing method for each decoration process and automatic colour reduction for screen printing, which PrintBlob does not have.
