Honest comparison: Customily pricing for WooCommerce
Customily's pricing page, read on 21 October 2026, lists one plan at $49 a month per platform, WooCommerce included, plus a fee on each personalised item sold of $1 for the first 100 items in a calendar month, $0.50 for items 101 to 1,000, $0.25 for items 1,001 to 10,000 and $0.10 after that, so a shop selling 200 personalised items a month pays $199.

What does Customily cost a shop?
A WooCommerce shop selling 200 personalised items a month pays Customily $199 a month: the $49 plan, plus the first 100 items at $1 and the next 100 at $0.50. Every figure on this page is worked out from Customily’s own pricing page as it read on 21 October 2026, in US dollars; prices change, so read that page on the day you decide.
| Customily standard plan | Customily Standalone | |

| Fee, items 1,001 to 10,000 | $0.25 each | $0.25 each |
| Fee, items 10,001 and up | $0.10 each | $0.10 each |

How does Customily’s fee work?
- Per item, not per order. An order with five different personalised products pays five fees.
- Per unique personalisation, not per quantity. Five of the same product with the same personalisation pay one fee, because Customily makes one print file; five with five different names pay five.
- A fixed amount, not a percentage. Customily’s page says the fee is the same on a $15 keychain and a $5,000 necklace. On a $25 t-shirt, $1 is 4% of the price, $0.50 is 2%, $0.25 is 1% and $0.10 is 0.4%.
- Each band charged separately. The calculator on the pricing page charges the first 100 items at $1, the next 900 at $0.50, the next 9,000 at $0.25 and the rest at $0.10, so a lower band only lowers the price of the items in it.
- Counted per calendar month. The count starts again on the first day of each month, whatever the date you subscribed.
- Per platform. Several stores on one platform share one $49 plan and one count; a second platform is a second plan, and its items are counted on their own.
- Billed apart from the plan. Outside Shopify and Shoplazza, the $49 is charged when the 9 free days end and then monthly; fees are billed at the end of the calendar month or when they reach $1,000, whichever comes first.
What does Customily cost at my sales?
Personalised items sold a month on one platform. Each cell is the plan plus the fee of each band, then twelve months of it.
| Items a month | Fees | A month | A year | Fee per item, on average |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 50 | 50 × $1 = $50 | $49 + $50 = $99 | $1,188 | $1.00 |
| 200 | 100 × $1 + 100 × $0.50 = $150 | $49 + $150 = $199 | $2,388 | $0.75 ($150 ÷ 200) |
| 1,000 | 100 × $1 + 900 × $0.50 = $550 | $49 + $550 = $599 | $7,188 | $0.55 ($550 ÷ 1,000) |
| 5,000 | $100 + $450 + 4,000 × $0.25 = $1,550 | $49 + $1,550 = $1,599 | $19,188 | $0.31 ($1,550 ÷ 5,000) |
A second platform does not share the count: 100 items on WooCommerce and 100 on Etsy are two plans and two first bands, $49 + $100 on each, or $298 a month, where 200 items on WooCommerce alone are $199.
How does that compare with the other hosted services?
Zakeke and Kickflip charge a percentage of each sale, so the comparison depends on what an item sells for. The same 200 personalised items a month, at two prices, before tax and shipping:
| Service | 200 items at $25 ($5,000 a month) | 200 items at $50 ($10,000 a month) | Products |
|---|---|---|---|
| Customily | $49 + $150 = $199 a month | $49 + $150 = $199 a month | Unlimited |
| Zakeke Starter, billed yearly ($59 + 1.9%) | $59 + $95 = $154 a month | $59 + $190 = $249 a month | Up to 10 published |
| Kickflip ($59 + 1.95% up to $100,000 a month) | $59 + $97.50 = $156.50 a month | $59 + $195 = $254 a month | Unlimited |
Zakeke’s and Kickflip’s prices were read on their own pricing pages on 21 October 2026. A per-item fee costs less the more each item sells for, and a percentage costs less on cheaper items; Zakeke’s plans also cap the products you can publish. What Zakeke costs at more volumes is worked out in Zakeke pricing and Kickflip’s in Kickflip pricing; how Customily and Zakeke differ on features is in Zakeke vs Customily.
How does that compare with a self-hosted plugin?
A self-hosted plugin runs the designer inside your own WooCommerce, on the hosting the shop already pays for, and charges no fee per item, so its price is the same at every volume.
| Option | What you pay | At 50, 200, 1,000 or 5,000 items a month |
|---|---|---|
| Customily | $49 a month plus a fee on each personalised item | $1,188, $2,388, $7,188 or $19,188 a year |
| PrintBlob | Free; PrintBlob Pro $69 a year or $99 once (limited-time offer until 31 December 2026) | The same at every volume |
| Lumise | $69 a year for updates and support, or $380 once | The same at every volume |
| Fancy Product Designer | $99 per licence, one per website | The same at every volume |
Lumise’s and Fancy Product Designer’s prices were read on their own pages on 21 October 2026. The price is not the whole difference: Customily’s plan pays for personalised gifts such as street and star maps, crosswords, calendars and songs, unlimited clipart and designs, background removal and other AI effects, print-on-demand connections, Etsy and Amazon, and its support, and the plugins above do less of that. Fancy Product Designer’s CodeCanyon edition is also in maintenance-only status. How the plugins differ is on the alternatives page.
When is Customily worth its price?
When you sell personalised gifts and print-on-demand products: names, photos, maps, crosswords, songs and clipart on mugs, jewellery, ornaments and wall art, fulfilled by Printify, Printful, Gooten, CustomCat, Printbelle or another provider it connects to, across WooCommerce, Etsy, Amazon or Shopify. Then the plan and the fee buy features no plugin here has, and the fee per item falls as you sell more; the arithmetic above tells you what that costs at your volume.
Where PrintBlob fits
PrintBlob is the other kind of tool: a WooCommerce plugin that runs in your own shop, free on WordPress.org, with PrintBlob Pro sold yearly or once and no fee per item (see PrintBlob’s pricing). It suits a shop that prints garments itself or with a local printer. The free plugin lets customers design the front of its bundled t-shirt in every colour you sell, from one photo, and keeps every order’s design; PrintBlob Pro adds your own products on your own photos, the back and the sleeves, a 3D view, your theme’s fonts, design templates, a clipart library of your own art, a print queue, and per printed side a transparent PNG at 300 DPI, a vector PDF and an SVG.
PrintBlob is not the right choice if you need ready-made clipart and designs, gift personalisations such as maps or songs, print-on-demand fulfilment, or Etsy, Amazon or Shopify. Customily’s pages name its clipart and designs, gift personalisations, print-on-demand connections and marketplaces, and PrintBlob has none of them: PrintBlob Pro’s clipart and templates are the art and designs you add. Templates and file formats are not named on the Customily pages read.

How do I work out what Customily would cost my shop?
- Count the personalised items you sell in a month. Count items, not orders and not money: Customily charges once for each unique personalised item, whatever its price, and starts counting again on the first day of every calendar month.
- Count the platforms you sell on. Each platform needs its own $49 a month plan, and items sold on different platforms are counted separately; several stores on the same platform share one plan and one count.
- Add the plan and the fee. Charge the first 100 items at $1, the next 900 at $0.50, the next 9,000 at $0.25 and the rest at $0.10, then add $49 for each platform; multiply by twelve for a year.
- Set the year beside the alternatives. Compare the year's total with a hosted service that charges a percentage of each sale, and with a plugin's yearly or one-off price, at the same month of sales.

Questions
How much does Customily cost?
On 21 October 2026 Customily's pricing page listed one plan at $49 a month per platform for Shopify, Etsy, Amazon, WooCommerce and Shoplazza, plus a fee on each personalised item sold: $1 for items 1 to 100 in a month, $0.50 for 101 to 1,000, $0.25 for 1,001 to 10,000 and $0.10 above that. Other platforms use its Standalone plan, from $299 a month per store plus the same fees.
How do Customily's transaction fees work?
Per unique personalised item, not per order and not as a percentage of the price. Five different personalised products in one order are five fees; five of the same product with the same personalisation are one fee, because Customily makes one print file; five of the same product with different names are five fees. The count starts again on the first day of each calendar month.
Are Customily's fee tiers charged on every item once I reach a lower tier?
No. The calculator on its pricing page charges each band separately: the first 100 items of the month at $1, the next 900 at $0.50, the next 9,000 at $0.25 and the rest at $0.10. At 200 items that is $100 plus $50, or $150 in fees, not 200 × $0.50.
What does Customily cost at 200 items a month?
$49 for the plan, plus 100 items at $1 ($100) and 100 items at $0.50 ($50): $199 a month, or $2,388 a year. At 1,000 items it is $49 + $100 + $450 = $599 a month, or $7,188 a year.
Can you try Customily before paying?
Yes, 9 days with every feature and no transaction fees, according to its pricing page. A credit card is needed to start, except on Shopify and Shoplazza; on WooCommerce you enter billing details when you create the account. The Standalone plan cannot be tried on your own; it offers a demo.
Is Customily on WordPress.org?
No. A search of the WordPress.org plugin directory for Customily on 21 October 2026 found no results. Customily's help centre says its WooCommerce plugin is emailed as a ZIP file after you create an account, and you upload it in Plugins › Add New Plugin › Upload Plugin.
Is Customily cheaper than Zakeke or Kickflip?
It depends on the price of what you sell, because Customily charges per item and the others a percentage. At 200 items a month at $25 ($5,000 of sales), Customily is $199 a month, Zakeke Starter billed yearly $154 and Kickflip $156.50; at 200 items at $50 ($10,000), Customily is still $199, Zakeke Starter $249 and Kickflip $254. Zakeke Starter publishes up to 10 products; Customily and Kickflip have no product limit.
