Where is Zakeke stronger?

  • 3D, AR and try-on. Zakeke sells 3D configurators for made-to-order products, 3D models made from one product photo, an AR viewer and virtual try-on. PrintBlob Pro’s 3D view shows the garment with its design; it is not a configurator.
  • Print production beyond PDF and PNG. Layered PDF, DXF and BMP for engraving and laser cutting, bleed and cut lines, Pantone as well as CMYK colour (Grow and up), and print files you can edit after the order.
  • More for the customer to start from. Text effects, collages and uploads of PDF, EPS and AI artwork, beside templates with editable text and images.
  • Many platforms and print-on-demand. One account serves WooCommerce, Shopify and other platforms, and Zakeke connects to Printful, Printeers and CustomCat.
  • A long record. On WordPress.org since 2017, with 131 ratings averaging 4.7 out of 5.

Where is PrintBlob stronger?

  • No monthly bill and no fee per sale. At 1.9%, a shop selling $5,000 a month of custom products pays Zakeke $95 in fees that month on top of its plan. PrintBlob Pro is $69 a year or $99 once (limited-time offer until 31 December 2026), whatever you sell.
  • Everything stays in your shop. The designer runs in your WordPress; designs, previews, customers’ images and print files are kept with the order on your own server, with no outside account to keep paying for.
  • A free plugin you can run for real. PrintBlob on WordPress.org takes front-printed t-shirt orders in every colour you sell and keeps each order’s design, with no time limit and nothing locked.
  • Made for today’s WordPress. The most modern product designer for WooCommerce: built in 2026 for WordPress 7, block-theme native, 3D from your own photos, and no monthly or per-sale fees.
  • Print files at the exact print size. PrintBlob Pro renders each printed side as a 300 DPI PNG, a vector PDF and an SVG at the print area’s size when the design goes into the cart, and for earlier orders from their saved designs.

What does PrintBlob not do that Zakeke does?

PrintBlob has no 3D configurator, AR or try-on, no layered PDF, DXF or BMP files, no Pantone colour, no uploads of PDF, EPS or AI artwork and no print-on-demand connection, and it runs only in WooCommerce. If your shop needs those, Zakeke or another tool on the alternatives page is the better fit.

Which should I choose?

  • Choose Zakeke if you sell many kinds of made-to-order products, need 3D configurators or AR, engraving files or Pantone colour, or sell on several platforms, and the monthly plan and the fee on each sale work at your volume.
  • Choose PrintBlob if you print garments yourself or with a local printer, want customers to design on your own product photos, and want a one-off or yearly price with no fee per sale and everything kept in your shop.

What makes a t-shirt print file ready to print: a transparent PNG at 300 DPI at the printed size, or a vector file where the method takes one. Why customer photos print blurry, why backgrounds print as boxes, and what DTG, DTF, screen printing, vinyl and embroidery each need from you.

Questions

Is Zakeke free?

Its WooCommerce plugin is free on WordPress.org, but the plugin connects your shop to Zakeke's service, which is paid: from $59 a month billed yearly or $69.90 billed monthly on Starter, plus 1.9% of each customised product sold, once its 14 free days are over.

Is PrintBlob a Zakeke alternative?

For a WooCommerce shop that prints garments and wants no monthly plan or fee per sale, yes: PrintBlob runs in your shop and keeps every design with its order. For 3D configurators, AR, engraving files or Pantone colour, Zakeke does more, and Customily and Kickflip are the other hosted services to compare it with.

Does PrintBlob take a fee on each sale?

No. The free plugin costs nothing and PrintBlob Pro is $69 a year or $99 once (limited-time offer until 31 December 2026), with no fee per order or per sale and no limit on how much you sell.

Does PrintBlob have a 3D view like Zakeke?

PrintBlob Pro has a 3D view of the garment, built from the product's own front and back photos, with the customer's design on it. Zakeke's 3D goes much further: configurators with components and materials, 3D models made from a photo, AR and virtual try-on.

Can PrintBlob make PDF or CMYK print files?

Yes, with PrintBlob Pro. Each printed side gets a transparent PNG at 300 DPI, a vector PDF and an SVG at the print area's exact size, and, once you upload the ICC profile your printer gives you, a CMYK PDF converted through it. Zakeke lists PDF, PDF with layers, PNG, DXF and BMP files, and CMYK and Pantone colour from its Grow plan; PrintBlob makes no layered PDF, DXF or BMP and has no Pantone colour.
