Your own wording in the designer and the shop

PrintBlob Pro lets you change any text PrintBlob shows, in the designer, the cart, emails and the admin, for each language of your site. You find the text under WooCommerce › Settings › PrintBlob › Wording, type yours, and leave a field empty to keep PrintBlob's.

Free or Pro?

  • Pro Your own wording: any text of PrintBlob and PrintBlob Pro replaced with yours, per language, the designer included.

What does it do?

Every shop has its own voice: “Add to basket” instead of “Add to cart”, “Your artwork” instead of “Your print”, the name your customers use for a print method. PrintBlob Pro’s Wording screen lists every text of both plugins, the designer’s included, with a search, and keeps your wording for each language of your site. The screen counts how many texts you have changed in each language.

The Wording table searched for “Add to cart”: each text’s original, what the shop shows now, and a field for your wording.
WooCommerce › Settings › PrintBlob › Wording.

Who is it for?

Shops with a brand voice or a trade vocabulary, shops in a language PrintBlob’s translation does not say quite the way they want, and shops selling something that is not a t-shirt, where the default words do not fit.

What are the limits?

It changes PrintBlob’s own text. Text from WooCommerce, your theme or other plugins is theirs to change. A change applies to the language it is made in; a site in two languages has two wordings.

How do I change a text?

  1. Open the Wording screen. With PrintBlob Pro, open WooCommerce › Settings › PrintBlob › Wording.
  2. Choose the language. The screen lists your site's languages; choose the one to change.
  3. Find the text. Type part of it in Search the text.
  4. Type yours and save. Write your wording in its field, keep any placeholder such as %s or %1$d, and save. An empty field keeps PrintBlob's text.
